We strongly encourage you to stay overnight in either Menzies or at Morapoi and really experience the friendly and generous hospitality of the Northern Goldfields and enjoy the true spirit of the 2022 Goldfields Cyclassic event.

Menzies Caravan Park

Powered sites and camping sites available with shower and toilet facilities. Both facilities are within 50m of the Menzies Town Hall.  There is also a grassed area available for tents.  This is limited so it is best to contact the Visitor Centre to book your place early. There is a small cost for pitching your tent.  Contact the Menzies Visitor Center.

There is overflow camping available on the Oval (by the Menzies Town Hall) for swags and tents only.  Please make sure you don't pitch your tent too close to the fireworks! 

Morapoi Station

Morapoi Station is 50km north of Menzies. Mining camp style, showers and comfortable rooms. There will be a bus to transport you to Morapoi after the Awards dinner and then returning to Menzies on Sunday in plenty of time for Race Briefing and preparing for the second stage of the event - the Leonora Golden Wheels. NOTE: This is very basic style accommodation and potable water supplies are very limited. Unless signed as potable water do not assume water can be consumed.

Please note that you will need to bring a towel with you to shower in Menzies after the first stage.  The bus does not go to Morapoi prior to the Awards dinner.

The Plaza Hotel Kalgoorlie is within easy walking distance to the Basketball stadium, the start line in Hannan Street and is our preferred accommodation in Kalgoorlie.
