Grades

Held over two days, each component of the event will be run as an individual race stage. Each rider will be assigned a finish time as the time after the lead rider crosses the line and the time the rider crosses the line for each race. The times for each race are added together to give a total time to determine the men's and women's winners of the Cyclassic.

Men and Women

Both men and women will race in the appropriate handicap grade (A, B, C and D) and are eligible for the main line honours in each race. There are also designated women's prizes.

A grade - Regularly ride over 400 km per week training and travel at an average of 35-50km/hr.

B grade – Regularly ride over 300 km per week training and travel at an average of 35-45km/hr.

C grade - Regularly ride over 200 km per week training and travel at an average of 30-35km/hr.

D grade - Suitable for riders who travel at an average of 28-35 km/hr.

NOTE: The final grade allocations are at the discretion of the handicappers.
